As Ohio's newest festival “Ohio Brew Week aims to introduce Ohio’s microbrews to wider audiences and to showcase Athens cuisine, independently-owned restaurants and regional entertainment,” says Jon Sparhawk who initiated the idea for the festival. “Micro-brewing is an art form, and the celebration of that craft fits perfectly with the Athens community’s rich artistic talent, fabulous chefs, and fun places to gather and meet interesting people while sampling fresh and unusual beers.”
